We are the only locally owned and operated RV & Marine dealership serving Grande Prairie and the surrounding Peace Country for over 25 years, offering the best in new and pre-owned RV and boats.

Time Line
Starting Out Small
Starting with only a small office shack, a plastic service tent, and two additional employees, Dwain McGovern embarked on a mission to share and grow his love of camping and adventure with as many people they could reach. Initally selling used cars and RV's, McGovern eventually moving up into selling Fleetwood Trailers and becoming McGoverns RV Centre! From sharing the joys of adventure in and around the Peace Country to providing quality service and support we were able to be recognized as a top Fleetwood dealer multiple years in a row!
Moving On Up
After five years, and many memories made, we were needing to grow. We moved into our first dealership! Consisting of three dedicated service bays, more offices for staff and space for parts. With a customer first mentality, we continued to support our community and share our enthusiasm for the RV lifestyle
McGoverns RV & Marine is Official-ly Moving Again
After adding Larson and Tracker Marine in 2004 McGoverns RV & Marine was official! Shortly after, in 2010, we were needing to grow again, this time to a space we could truely make our own. After the initial reonovations in the service bays to our "red-barn" we were set with seven service bays, a proper parts and service department, and plenty of yard space to display all of our units to our customers!
More Space, More Fun
The dark, long, and cold winters of Northern Alberta made it tough to show off the benefits of camping, boating and the RV lifestyle year round. It was with this in mind we decided to grow again! This time adding on a 10,000 square foot showroom from the original building. We were able to show off 10 units year round and add more staff to our locally owned and operated dealership! From the contunued support of the Grande Prairie and surrounding Peace Country we were able to continue to share our love of adventure and the RV and boating lifestyle.
From the Ashes, We Rise
2020 was a year for growth and change with circumstances far out of anyone's control. At McGovern's RV & Marine we were hit with the most unfortunate of events. Sunday, May 31st we were awoke to the calls from family, co-workers, and community members describing our dealership engulfed in flames. Hard work by the County of GP, Sexsmith, and Grande Prairie Fire Departments to fight the flames, left the showroom addition spared. Our seven service bays, parts & service department, and our admin offices all perished from the blaze. From the support of the wonderful community of Grande Prairie and area we were able to get back up on our feet within one week!
From the Ashes, We Rise - Continued
Working out of a temporary service centre just north of the now freestanding showroom we were able to complete the season and support our customers. As we rebuild and grow we want to take the time to say 'thank you' to our customers that became a part of our "McGoverns Family" this past year and to those who have been with us for years! With you together, from the ashes of 2020, we will rise.
