McGoverns RV & Marine COVID-19 Information

We value all of our McGoverns customers and we appreciate your business and the trust you place in us. As we all face the challenge of COVID-19, we want you to be aware of the measures we're taking to protect the well-being of our employees, our customers and the communities we serve. 

As an essential business, McGoverns RV & Marine is open for business and working diligently to reduce and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

With the dynamic nature of the pandemic and the spread of COVID-19 we are closely monitoring the statements from the City & County of Grande PrairieAlberta Health Services, and The Public Health Agency of Canada to ensure that we are following the guidelines.

Cleanliness 

We have increased the cleaning of high-touch and high traffic areas, as well as the following additional measures for guests and staff:
 

Personal Hygiene, Social Distancing & Dealership Cleaning 

1.      Employees are asked to practice frequent hand washing with soap and water for 20 seconds or longer and adhere to the recommended social distancing practices of 6' (2 meters) or greater. 

2.      We have masks available to customers and employees. Employees are encouraged to wear masks while outside of their plexi-glass partition and/or a distance of 6' between individuals is not attainable.

3.      Employees are asked to stay home if sick, avoid contact with people who are sick, and are requested to stay home for 14 days if they have any symptoms or traveled outside of Canada. 

4.      Hand-sanitizing stations have been installed at both the main entrance and the exit to our stock yard for employees and guests to use. 

5.      Frequency of cleaning our dealerships and units have increased, and we are using protocols and products effective against viruses. These include public spaces, high-touch areas, personal work                         spaces, counters, desks & keyboards, doors & door handles, bathrooms, and unit keys, steering wheels and door handles, and any spaces where employees work "behind the scenes". 

6.      Our management team is monitoring the protocols 24/7 and making sure that we are following all of the most recent updates and regulations.

  

Departmental Changes:

Our Service, Parts, and Sales departments are all open for operation with the following enhancements to make shopping from home and/or distanced a breeze!

Service Department
We are currently working at 100% capacity and are here for anyone needing to get their rig back out on the road!
Plexi-glass partitions are installed infront of our service advisors to provide a safe space to discuss any servicing your RV or boat may need. Please contact us to arrange pickup and drop off of your unit to adhere to the appropriate safety measures in place. All walk-thru appointments of new or previously-owned units will require masks for both the customer and the experienced RV technician providing the walk-thru. If desired, we are able to provide a walk-thru video of your unit with one of our experienced RV technicians should an in-person walk-thru not be available due to restrictions and or personal preference.

Parts Department
We are open for customers with a purpose! Plexi-glass partitions are installed at our parts counter to protect both our staff and our customers.We are able to source parts over the phone, email, and or text message if you are not able to visit in-person. As well, we are now able to reviece payment for parts over our secure text messaging platform if you are sending someone else to pick up your parts or if you are needing your parts delivered.  Please give us as call or text today to see the McGoverns Difference and to get you back on the road!

Sales Department
We are open for business both in store and online! Should you visit our showroom we ask that you check in with a team member upon arrival at the dealership. Appointments are strongly encouraged as we are working with a limited sales team. Masks are required and available to customers when viewing units as a 6' distance is not always possible in all units. Hand-sanitizing stations are available at the entrance to the building and the yard for both the clients and the staff to use.

Should you desire to shop our inventory here online we are able to provide assistance over the phone, text message, or email for the entirety of your path to purchase. Our Sales Team is able to send personalized virutal unit videos for any of the units on our lot! We are also now offering boarder or home delivery of your units if cross-province traveling is restricted such as the Northwest Territories, BC, Yukon, etc.
